Accessibility is the ability for people to access and use (online) services. The NIHR is committed to make its websites as accessible as possible to as many people as possible.
The NETSCC Design System is WCAG 2.1 AA compliant, and is designed and developed in accordance with the Government Digital Service's Service Standard.
User interaction
Use NIHR Yellow to indicate that an element on the page is currently focused. You should apply the colour liberally, so your users cannot miss the focused element when visually scanning the page. Possible ways to style a focused element are through a yellow background, or a border or outline.
